Your kitchen, done properly

A kitchen that works as well as it looks

The kitchen is the hardest-working room in a Dubai home. It has to handle heat, humidity, heavy daily use and, in many villas, a separate dirty kitchen or maid's kitchen as well. A good renovation starts with how you actually cook, store and entertain, then builds the layout, storage and finishes around that.

Malmö Interiors handles the whole job: design, building NOC, demolition, plumbing and electrical changes, custom cabinetry from our own joinery, worktops, splashbacks, appliances, lighting and final snagging. You deal with one project manager instead of five separate trades.

Not every kitchen needs to be ripped out. If the carcasses are sound, kitchen wrapping or new doors and worktops can change the look in days at a fraction of the cost. We will tell you honestly which option makes sense for your space and budget.

Why Malmö

One team, from design to the last cabinet handle

Our designers, project managers and carpenters work under one roof, so the kitchen that is drawn is the kitchen that is built. Last-minute changes are handled in-house instead of waiting on outside suppliers.

We price from real measurements, so you see exactly what you are paying for: cabinets, worktops, appliances, MEP and finishing, each as a separate line.

FAQ

Kitchen renovation questions

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Dubai?

It depends on the size of the kitchen, whether the layout changes, and the cabinet, worktop and appliance specification. Wrapping or a door-and-worktop refresh costs far less than a full strip-out with new services. After a free site visit we give you an itemised quote based on actual measurements, and our kitchen renovation cost guide explains the typical ranges.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?

A wrapping or refresh job can take a few days. A full kitchen renovation usually takes around 3 to 6 weeks on site, plus time for design approval, NOCs and cabinet fabrication. We give you a written schedule with the quote.

Do I need a NOC to renovate my kitchen?

In most Dubai communities and apartment buildings, yes, especially if plumbing, electrical or wall changes are involved. Malmö prepares and submits the NOC application and arranges work permits and site passes for you.

Can you move the kitchen or make it open-plan?

Often, yes. We first check which walls are structural and where drainage, gas and ventilation can run, then confirm what the community or building will approve before anything is demolished.

Is kitchen wrapping a good alternative to replacing cabinets?

If the cabinet boxes are solid and the layout works for you, wrapping is a fast, cost-effective way to change colours and finishes. If cabinets are swollen, damaged or badly planned, replacement is the better long-term investment. We will advise honestly after seeing them.

Do you supply the appliances and worktops?

We can source and install everything, or work with appliances you have already chosen. All selections are confirmed in writing before ordering.
