Beautiful, practical and actually buildable
Good interior design is not just about picking finishes. It starts with how you live or how your business runs: where people move, what needs storing, how light comes into the space and what has to last in Dubai's climate.
Because Malmö Interiors also handles renovation, fit-out and construction, our designers work alongside the project managers and carpenters who will build the space. Every drawing is checked for cost, buildability and approvals before you sign it off, so there are no surprises on site.
You can use us for design only, or for the full journey from first sketch to handover. Either way, you get documented approvals at every stage and a clear itemised cost.

From first visit to handover
Design is where most of the decisions are made, so we document every choice and price it before anything is built.
Vision & site visit
We meet on site, look at the space, listen to how you want to use it and give practical advice from day one.
Itemised quote
You get a transparent, line-by-line cost based on real measurements and quantities, not a vague lump sum.
NOCs & approvals
We prepare and submit the community, landlord and authority paperwork, and arrange permits and site passes.
Design & sign-off
Mood boards, 2D layouts and 3D renders, with every selection documented and approved before work starts.
Samples & shop drawings
Materials, finishes and joinery details are sampled and drawn up for your approval before fabrication.
Build & install
Our own project managers and technicians run the site, with joinery made off-site to keep the programme tight.
Handover
Quality checks, testing, snagging and a walk-through with you before we hand over the keys.
6-month support
A six-month snagging period after completion. If something needs attention, we come back and fix it.
Designers who work next to the people who build
Many design-only studios hand you drawings and leave the contractor to work out the details. At Malmö, design, sourcing, approvals and construction sit in one team, so the finish you see in the render is the finish you get.
We avoid trend-for-trend's-sake design. Our focus is spaces that feel personal, function well, are easy to maintain and add long-term value to your property or business.
Interior design questions
How much does interior design cost in Dubai?
Fees depend on the size of the space, the number of rooms and the level of detail, for example layouts only versus full 3D renders and joinery drawings. When we also build the project, design is planned and priced as part of one itemised quote. Book a free consultation and we will explain the options for your space.
Can I hire Malmö for design only?
Yes. We can deliver layouts, mood boards, 3D renders and material schedules for you to use. Most clients choose design and build together because it keeps cost, quality and timing under one team.
How long does the design stage take?
A single room can be designed in a couple of weeks. A full villa or commercial space usually takes several weeks, depending on how quickly selections are approved. We agree the design programme with you at the start.
Will I see the design before work starts?
Yes. You review 2D layouts, mood boards and 3D renders, plus physical samples of key materials. Nothing is ordered or built until you approve it in writing.
Do you design commercial spaces as well as homes?
Yes. We design offices, retail stores, restaurants, cafés, salons, spas and clinics, and we understand the extra approvals these spaces need in Dubai.
Do you source furniture and materials?
Yes. We source tiles, sanitary ware, lighting, mirrors, loose furniture and decor, and our carpentry team builds custom furniture and joinery to fit.
